Participation in the “Health Hackathon 2024” for innovators within the Health Systems Innovation Lab at Harvard initiative.
On April 7, 2024, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Accounting and Taxation, Coordinator of the Development of Startups, Innovations and Project Training of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, Gnedina Kateryna Volodymyrivna took part in the finals of the “Health Hackathon” as part of the “Insulin” startup team without queues” (“Insulin without queue”), which presented an innovative solution in the field of health care in the direction of the hackathon “Cardiovascular diseases and diabetes”. As part of the event, the team of the startup “Insulin without queues” received consulting support from mentors – specialists in the field of health care, founders and CEOs of startups.
“Health Hackathon” is an event for startups dedicated to the creation of new products and the search for innovative solutions in the field of health care. Simultaneously with teams from Ukraine, teams of participants in hackathons from the Harvard Health System Innovation Lab in the USA, Brazil, Chile, Singapore and Great Britain worked on innovative projects.
“Health Hackathon” was implemented on the initiative of the Health Systems Innovation Lab at Harvard, the World Health Organization Ukraine, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and is implemented jointly with CIVITTA, Radar Tech, YEP, in partnership with the Ukrainian Startup Fund with the financial support of the Government of Canada.
