Development of Project Competencies and Formation of New Grant Concepts within the Activities of the TURBO Project Team
On May 12 and 14, 2026, the team of the TURBO project participated in the workshop “Development of Grant Project Concepts,” organized by the Project Activity Center of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University as part of the Science Week. Participation in the event became an important step in strengthening the team’s capacity in the field of international grant activities and the strategic development of new directions for project work.
The workshop focused on the practical aspects of developing project concepts in accordance with the requirements of the international Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe programmes. For the TURBO team, participation in the event provided an opportunity to update approaches to the preparation of application documents, improve skills in structuring project logic, and analyze contemporary approaches to developing competitive grant proposals.
For the TURBO team, particular value was found in discussing approaches to building interdisciplinary partnerships and ensuring coherence between the research, educational, and organizational components of future initiatives. Participation in the workshop not only strengthened practical competencies in grant management but also created a foundation for the preparation of new international project initiatives aimed at enhancing resilience, innovation, and cross-sectoral cooperation in higher education.
The main aim of TURBO project “The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises” is to increase the resilience, preparedness and responsiveness of Ukrainian higher education institutions (HEIs) by building their capacities, improving competencies and sharing experiences.
