We summarize the results of the project “I – Media” in Chernihiv region in 2021

Since September 2021, Chernihiv Region has been implementing the I-Media human rights program at Chernihiv Polytechnic National University in partnership with the Human Rights Foundation, the University of Tartu (Estonia), and Sumy State University with financial support from the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In the context of the main goal of the international project “I-Media”, which is to increase the influence of community leaders on social processes through the use of modern media, in December 2021 were held 2 blog cafes on current topics.

On December 2, Blog Cafe №4 “Digital design tools in the arsenal of a modern human rights blogger” (moderator – Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of Law Enforcement and General Law Disciplines of the National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic” Alla Nitchenko).

Together with the speaker, the participants immersed themselves in the world of digital opportunities and technologies: they learned effective ways to bring new information to society. In particular, the participants of the blog cafe got acquainted with such a tool for creating visual content as comics on legal education. In groups or individually, the participants were able to create their own social and human rights comics, and shared them in a specially created open Facebook group “Digital Blogger Tools”.

On December 21, 2021, within the framework of the I-Media project in the Chernihiv region, Blog Cafe №5 was held on the topic “Educational blog channel as a bridge between generations” (moderator – Liudmyla Remnova, coordinator of the I-Media project in the Chernihiv region). Participants of the blog cafe were able to get acquainted with modern platforms for creating an educational blog channel, the principles of defining its subject, forming a portrait of the target audience, compiling a content plan for a thematic educational blog and choosing basic tools and techniques to diversify content and better target audience. The creative atmosphere and effective networking helped the participants of the blog cafe to better understand how to create interesting and diverse content of blog channels for their subscribers, taking into account the current trends of 2021.

The December events were especially relevant and useful for future young bloggers, as well as for those who already run their blog channels and are looking for new ideas and a fresh look at modern communication tools.
