Final Forum of the ENEFEDU 2.0 project.

On March 28, 2024, the delegation of Chernihiv Polytechnic University took part in the Forum “ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN VOCATIONAL EDUCATION: GLOBAL CHALLENGES, LOCAL SOLUTIONS AND AGENDA FOR THE FUTURE”, which is the final part of the international project  ENEFEDU 2.0, which is aimed at creating energy-efficient educational institutions technical education in the context of reconstruction of Ukraine.

The participants of the project are 10 P(PT)O institutions of Ukraine:

  • “Higher Vocational School No. 22” in Sarny;
  • “Higher Vocational School No. 1” in Rivne;
  • “Dnipro center of vocational and technical education” State vocational and technical educational institution;
  • “Western Donbas Vocational Lyceum”;
  • “Kyiv Professional College of Civil Engineering” Communal institution of professional (vocational and technical) education;
  • “Lutsk Higher Vocational College of Construction and Architecture” State Vocational and Technical Educational Institution;
  • “Podilskyi Center of Vocational and Technical Education” State Educational Institution;
  • “Regional Center for Vocational Education of Innovative Technologies, Construction and Industry” State educational institution;
  • “Snov Higher Vocational College of Forestry” State Vocational and Technical Educational Institution;
  • “Sumy interregional higher professional school” State educational institution

and

  • Chernihiv Polytechnic National University.

Chernihiv Polytechnic University is the only higher education institution that participates in the project No. 81298093 “Energy-efficient educational institution. Thermal modernization of P(PT)O institutions within the framework of developed energy efficiency courses. 2.0» #GIZ_ENEFEDU 2.0, implemented by the Charitable Organization “Charitable Foundation “Lyudyna” with the support of [http://%D0%9C%D1%96%D0%BD%D1%96%D1%81%D1%82%D0% B5%D1%80%D1%81%D1%82%D0%B2%D0%BE%20%D0%BE%D1%81%D0%B2%D1%96%D1%82%D0%B8%20% D1%96%20%D0%BD%D0%B0%D1%83%D0%BA%D0%B8%20%D0%A3%D0%BA%D1%80%D0%B0%D1%97%D0% BD%D0%B8] https://mon.gov.ua/ua and technical support of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH Energy Efficiency and Climate Projects within the larger project “Promotion of energy efficiency and implementation of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive in Ukraine” (FEER) and is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

The Forum was attended by representatives of the government, the public, and institutions of higher and vocational education, who discussed the achievements, current challenges, and the future of thermal modernization of educational institutions and the training of energy efficiency specialists in the context of recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine.

The main topics discussed during the meeting were: the results of the ENEFEDU2.0 project; presentation of the training manual “Membrane roof installer” and training courses on energy efficiency on the “PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION ONLINE” platform (https://profosvita.online/course_category/termomodernizaciya-budivel-ta-sporud/), the issue of thermal modernization of P(PT)O/ Vocational training and training of specialists in energy efficiency for the reconstruction of Ukraine.
