On November 28, a round table was held on the topic: “Domestic violence in the conditions of war: how to get protection.”

The event was organized by the Department of Family, Youth and Sports of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, the Chernihiv Regional Universal Scientific Library named after V.G. Korolenko, NGO “Union of Women of Chernihiv Region”.

Anna Chepurna, head of the CSO, took part in the round table meeting. During the meeting, they discussed problematic issues related to identifying cases of domestic violence, timely response to them, providing assistance to victims of gender-based violence, including domestic violence, redirecting or involving other subjects in providing assistance to victims, providing reports on identified cases Particular attention was paid to the issue of prevention of violence against children, as well as cruel treatment of children in conditions of war.

Taking into account all the discussed problematic points, the participants of the round table came to the conclusion about the need to create a comprehensive system of preventive measures to prevent domestic violence.
