A law student took part in the Erasmus+ programme at the University of Valladolid (Spain)

From 1 February to 25 June 2026, Kateryna Fursenko, a student on the Law degree programme at the Faculty of Law of the Educational and Research Institute of Law and Social Technologies, took part in an academic mobility programme under the Erasmus+ KA171 scheme.

Her studies took place at the University of Valladolid (Spain) – one of Spain’s leading higher education institutions, which actively promotes international cooperation.

As part of the academic mobility programme, the student studied a number of specialist subjects in English, including:

  • – Comparative private law: civilistic systems and common law ;
  • – Jurisdictional protection of fundamental rights;
  • – Administrative and regulatory law;
  • – Comparative political systems;
  • – European criminal law and justice;
  • – European legal history;
  • – Legal argumentation;
  • – Public international law.

Taking part in the programme enabled her not only to deepen her specialist knowledge in the field of international and European law, but also to improve her command of English, develop her intercultural communication skills and familiarise herself with European approaches to the training of lawyers.

We congratulate Kateryna on successfully completing her studies under the Erasmus+ academic mobility programme and wish her every success in her studies, professional development, new international projects and future achievements!
