On April 23, it is customary to celebrate the professional holiday of psychologists in Ukraine – the All-Ukrainian Psychologist’s Day. This day is created to show the importance of psychology as a science and to help spread its popularity among the general public.

For this purpose, the Department of Psychology and Creative Industries, together with the psychological service of the university, developed and held several interesting events for students and all university employees:

April 18, 2023

M.E. Leshchenko held an online meeting “Procrastination: how not to put off important things”, the participants of which were able to learn about the reasons for the habit of putting things off, when this habit becomes a problem, ways and exercises to fight procrastination.

April 19, 2023

Chepurna G.L. conducted online training on effective self-presentation skills. The participants of the training got acquainted with the most modern psychological techniques for the development of self-presentation competence, had the opportunity to master the skills of creating an impression about themselves, learn to successfully and convincingly present themselves, overcome their worries and confidently move towards their goal, build their own strategy of self-presentation, which will be the key to professional self-realization and successful life implementation

April 20, 2023

Filipovych V.M. held an online meeting “The Wheel of Life Balance – a useful practice for analyzing your life”. The participants of the meeting learned that this technique allows them to assess their satisfaction in all spheres of life, and had the opportunity to see a holistic picture of their life, as a result of which an understanding of where to move in the first place to achieve personal goals will appear.
