On 22 April 2026, a mentoring session entitled “The Alchemy of a Start-up: Combining Ideas, Teams and Results” was held for participants of the start-up school, led by Alla Kholodnytska, Head of the Tutoring and Mentoring Centre. The event was moderated by Kateryna Hnedina, coordinator of startup development, innovation and project-based learning at Chernihiv Polytechnic National University.

During the mentoring session, participants explored key aspects of launching a successful startup:

• · creative thinking techniques for developing innovative solutions,
• · organising team collaboration,
• · role allocation and cooperation strategies,
• · methods for maintaining motivation and constructively resolving conflicts,
• · as well as a step-by-step action plan for the successful development of a start-up project.

Participants in the mentoring session were given the tools to build a successful start-up, and the clear plan they developed for combining ideas, team dynamics and performance will help them turn theory into a successful start-up with inspiration and determination.
