Victory in the International Competition of Student Scientific Works “Black Sea Science”
The International competition of student scientific works “Black Sea Science” is held annually on the basis of the Odesa National University of Technology.
In 2026, students of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, majoring in Specialty 141 “Electric Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics” — Yevhen Skachok and Viktoria Lonevska — submitted their research paper in the field of “Power engineering and energy efficiency”.
The competition was conducted in two stages. At the first stage, a total of 455 papers were submitted across six fields by participants from Ukrainian and international higher education institutions, including universities from India, Sri Lanka, the United Kingdom, Austria, France, Algeria, Germany, Latvia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Albania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Georgia, and Azerbaijan.
According to the results of the competition, Yevhen Skachok and Viktoria Lonevska became the absolute winners in the field of “Energy and Energy Efficiency” with their paper “Analysis of Distribution Power Networks Structural Interconnections as a Prerequisite of Energy Islands Forming” (the academic supervisors V.M. Bodunov and T.V. Kulko).
