International cooperation and exchange of experience: participation of representatives from Chernihiv Polytechnic National University in the international workshop “WOW Workshop – Women of Ukraine EmpOWered”
Representatives of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, Kateryna Hnedina, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Accounting and Taxation, Coordinator of Start-up Development, Innovation and Project-Based Learning, and Yuliia Shabardina, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Architecture and Design, took part in the international workshop “WOW Workshop – Women of Ukraine EmpOWered” as part of the project “WOW – Women of Ukraine Empowered for a New Workforce Culture in Ukrainian Universities and Research Institutions”, which took place on 13 May at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Warsaw (Poland).
The event was organised by the Women’s Energy Club of Ukraine (WECU) and the German Institute for Climate Protection, Energy and Mobility (IKEM). The workshop was supported by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The event brought together representatives of educational, scientific and civil society organisations from Ukraine, Germany and Poland to strengthen international cooperation in the fields of gender policy, academic development and European research initiatives.
The workshop focused on issues of gender equality, the development of institutional strategies and the expansion of opportunities for Ukrainian organisations. Particular attention was paid during the workshop to the development of partnerships between Ukrainian and European institutions. The participation of representatives from Chernihiv Polytechnic National University in this international event marked an important step in expanding cooperation with European organisations, exchanging experience and implementing modern approaches to the development of an inclusive and innovative academic environment.
