In the period from October 9 to 15, the head of the Department of Information and Computer Systems and the coordinator of the EU Information Center in Chernihiv, Volodymyr Bazilevich, took part in the study visit of the team of coordinators of the EU Information Centers in Ukraine to the institutions of the European Union.

The participants went to Brussels, where they visited the European Parliament, the European Commission, namely the Directorate General for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR), the Council of the EU and the European External Action Service (EEAS). The participants learned about the role of these institutions in decision-making in the European Union and priority areas of work.

As part of the visit, a number of meetings with European officials who work directly with issues related to Ukraine were also held.

The visit was organized within the project of the EU Representation in Ukraine.

The main purpose of the visit is to improve the qualifications of coordinators and strengthen the capacity of EU Information Centers to disseminate information about the European Union, its policy and solidarity with Ukraine among universities, libraries and research centers of Ukraine.
