Admission of foreign nationals and stateless persons
Admission to all forms of education is carried out by submitting an application for an electronic offer of a place via the Unified Interdepartmental Information System of Ukraine for Admission to Institutions of Vocational, Pre-Higher and Higher Education (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Unified System’), regardless of:
- entry requirements (visa/visa-free);
- whether the person holds a temporary residence permit;
- the person’s stay in Ukraine.
Applying for a study invitation via the Unified System is the only way to obtain a study invitation in Ukraine.
- Firstly, applicants must create an online account via the website https://apply.studyinukraine.gov.ua/home, where they can submit an online application to generate an electronic invitation, and upload the following documents:
- passport or identity document (with a translation into Ukrainian and notarised);
- educational qualification and its supplement (legalised – with an apostille or consular certification);
- photograph (a colour digital image of the face).
All documents must be uploaded in .pdf or .jpg format.
Step-by-step guide to registering for the applicant’s online account
- Submit your application and pay the service fee via the website https://apply.studyinukraine.gov.ua/home. Once payment has been made, the application is automatically sent to the university.
- The documents and their Ukrainian translations submitted by the applicant are reviewed to ensure they meet the university’s admission requirements and the recognition procedure (they undergo validation).
- An offer of admission is sent to the applicant.
- Once the applicant has confirmed the offer of admission, an electronic invitation is generated, which is valid for six months from the date it is stamped with the educational institution’s electronic qualified seal. Upon request, it may be issued in paper form.
