KALYNA: united to gain skills in managing European projects
Etienne Arjakovsky, the KALYNA project lead for the French region of Île-de-France, visited Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, accompanied by Lesia Kozachok, Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Development at the Chernihiv Regional State Administration and Head of the Division for International Cooperation and Industrial Development.
KALYNA is a three-year Franco-Ukrainian training programme aimed at supporting Ukraine’s European integration.
The project’s objective is to prepare representatives of Ukrainian communities, public authorities, educational institutions and other stakeholders to effectively attract and manage European funding in accordance with the principles of transparency, efficiency and good governance.
The main purpose of the visit to the university was to get to know Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, study the project’s opportunities and discuss prospects for cooperation and support in the field of international project activities.
The meeting was attended by:
- – Oleh Novomlynets, Rector of the University;
- – Anatolii Prystupa, Vice-Rector for Research;
- – Olga Melnyk, Vice-Rector for Academic and Pedagogical Work and Social Development;
- – Nataliia Kholiavko, Head of the Centre for Project Activities;
- – Hanna Dyvnych, Head of the International Relations Office.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the implementation of international projects, securing European funding, developing the university’s institutional capacity, and participating in joint initiatives aimed at supporting Ukraine’s recovery and development.
