Student counsil
Student self-government of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University is the right and opportunity of the students of the Chernihiv Polytechnic University to decide the issues of education and life, protect the rights and interests of students, as well as participate in the management of the university.
Student self-government is an integral part of public self-government of the university, an important element of improving educational work. Its activities are aimed at improving the processes of growth of social activity in the student environment, initiative and responsibility for assigned tasks, as well as promoting the harmonious development of students’ personalities, their acquisition of leadership, organizer and manager skills.
Student self-government expresses the interests of all university students regardless of race, political, religious and other beliefs, gender, ethnic and social origin, citizenship, property status, place of residence, language or other characteristics.
Student self-government unites all students of the university. All students studying at the university have equal rights and can elect and be elected to student self-government bodies.
The main structural unit of the system of student self-government of NU “Chernihiv Polytechnic” is: at the level of the university, educational and scientific institute, faculty – academic group; at the dormitory level – a room.
