7The premiere of the social performance “People are not animals” took place on October 7 in the shopping mall “Hollywood” (Chernihiv). The performance was realized within the project “Steps to safe community: bullying prevention in the youth environment”, which is implemented by the NGO “Chernihiv European” in partnership with the National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic” within the Program UN to restore and build peace with the financial support of the European Union.

The audience of the social performance actively joined the discussion and discussion initiated by the moderator of the project Zakharina MI, associate professor of social work. Together with caring residents of the city, thanks to social performance, imaginary parallels were drawn between the animal world and the human world: “In the animal world, there is a rule:” the stronger survives. ” The whole life of animals is reduced to the search for food, procreation and the struggle for survival. The fundamental difference between the animal world and the human world is that people have compassion, empathy, tolerance and kindness. But for some reason animal laws still live in human society… Only in our hands to change the situation! ”

Soon there will be a presentation of the board preventive game “Danger in Jungles” and the social performance “People are not animals” for leaders of student government, as well as social educators and psychologists of schools in Chernihiv at the National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic”. Participants of the presentation and the game tournament will be able to receive a board game as a gift for preventive measures at school.
