On November 25, 2021, the Olympics of the National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic” among higher education students began with the grand opening.

Traditionally, the first type of competition was a chess tournament in which 27 chess players from seven educational and scientific institutes and two colleges joined.

The teams of the Professional College of Transport and Computer Technologies and the Educational and Scientific Institute of Electronic and Information Technologies performed very strongly, scoring 13 points each, and only on additional indicators the victory was celebrated by the CCTC representatives. Chess players from the Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Technology and Transport took the third place in the persistent struggle.

In the individual competition among girls the winner was Voilo Anastasia (KTKT), and among men the best was Tilkun Yaroslav (NNIMITtaT).
