The implementation of the project “Peace in Digital Time” in November 2021

In November 2021, the Center for Gender Education and the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University continued to implement a human rights empowerment program to restore understanding for community leaders in Ukraine, The Road to Peace in the Digital Age. There were the following partners in the implementation of the program the NGO “Human Rights Foundation”, the Institute for International Cultural Relations (IFA) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The project team analyzed the state policy on youth development in Chernihiv region: the regional program “Youth of Chernihiv” for 2021-2025, approved by the decision of the regional council on January 26, 2021 №24-2 / VIII, Comprehensive regional program of family support, gender equality and combating trafficking in human beings for the period up to 2025, approved by the decision of the regional council of 26.01.2021 № 23-2 / VIII

The Center for Gender Education also asked the Department of Family, Youth and Sports of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration for information on the action plan provided for in the regional action plan for the implementation of UN Security Council Resolutions 1325 and 2250 and their implementation. Based on the response № 01-40 / 2074 from 19-11-2021 of the Department of Family, Youth and Sports of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, the project ambassadors prepared recommendations to local authorities to improve the implementation of the National Action Plan to implement UN Security Council Resolution 1325 ” Women, Peace, Security ”and UN Security Council Resolution 2250“ Youth, Peace and Security ”in Chernihiv Oblast until 2025.

During the month, the project participants were active bloggers, expressing their opinion on the topic of peacekeeping in the blogosphere of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University https://blog.stu.cn.ua/ and the project website https://www.mustpost.online (total for November 174 fasts).

Within the project Shakun NV, Peretyatko YM, Nitchenko AG edited by Melnyk OE The Code of Ethics for Bloggers was concluded – a set of key values, moral and ethical norms and principles of digital communication culture, which should guide the blogger in his work. The Code consists of a preamble and five sections – general provisions, mission, values, principles of blogger ethics, responsibility for violating the Blogger Code of Ethics. The presentation of the publication will take place at the Project Forum on December 4-5 in Kyiv and at the final Round Table on December 9 at Chernihiv Polytechnic National University.
