As part of the “Startup-Way to Success-2026” startup school, a mentoring session – the workshop “Workshop on Preparing for Demo Day” – was held by the partners of the WIN2EDIH project

Startup school mentor Yana Paladiieva, Team Lead and Head of Innovative Ecosystem Development at WIN2EDIH, shared practical tools for preparing for Demo Day and her own experience of working with startups. The event was organised and moderated by Kateryna Hnedina, Coordinator of Start-up Development, Innovation and Project-Based Learning at Chernihiv Polytechnic National University.

During the event, participants of the start-up school worked on formulating a clear value proposition, developed a logical structure for their presentations, and learnt how to present their projects convincingly during Demo Day. Particular attention was paid to how to convey the value of the product to the audience and speak confidently in front of potential partners and investors.

The workshop also examined common mistakes made during pitching and provided practical advice on how to avoid them, ensuring the startup’s presentation is as effective as possible.
