On October 26, the National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic” with the support of the International Fund for Social Adaptation was the grand opening of the Training and Research Center for the conversion of military personnel and veterans of the ATO / OOS. The mission of the Conversion Center is to create conditions for conversion, social adaptation and scientific and professional retraining of military personnel, ATO / OOS veterans and members of their families. The purpose of the Center is to consolidate the efforts of institutions and institutional actors that promote the process of convention, scientific and professional retraining and social adaptation of military personnel and veterans of the ATO / OOS by conducting training sessions; implementation of scientific consulting; organization and holding of courses, seminars, workshops, trainings, internships; organization and holding of employment events (forums, seminars, conferences, meetings, etc.), provision of educational services on the basis of identifying current challenges of the business environment, the latest advances in science and foreign experience.

As part of the activities of the Conversion Center, the first document was signed – a memorandum of cooperation between the Coordination Council of ATO / OOS veterans at the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, NGO “Chernihiv European” and NU “Chernihiv Polytechnic”.
