On March 25, 2024, a delegation of leading specialists, led by Mr. Erik Shveikhard, GIZ project director, visited the Chernihiv Polytechnic University. The meeting was attended by the project coordinators of GIZ, Maryna Lytvynchuk and Maria Kostenko, and Tetyana Kopytova as a translator. Also present was Nataliya Kholchenkova, head of the Department of International Relations and Investments in the Chernihiv City Council. Her active participation in the cooperation process contributed to the establishment of a fruitful dialogue between the university and the delegation from GIZ.

During the meeting, further plans for the reconstruction of the university were discussed. The participants visited the start-up center “Peremoga” to get acquainted with innovative projects and opportunities for the development of youth initiatives in the field of technology, which can become one of the key areas of cooperation between the university and GIZ.
