Chernihiv Polytechnic National University and NGO “Zhinochyi Format” Join Forces for Sustainable Development of Communities

Chernihiv Polytechnic National University and the public organization “Zhinochyi Format” signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, which creates the basis for developing partnerships and implementing joint educational, scientific, environmental, and socially significant initiatives. The Memorandum was signed on behalf of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University by Vice-Rector for Scientific Work Anatolii Prystupa, and on behalf of NGO “Zhinochyi Format” by Head of the Organization Antonina Fedorchenko.

Cooperation will be aimed at combining scientific, educational, and civic potential to develop environmental education and culture, popularize principles of sustainable development and climate responsibility of communities, strengthen civic participation, gender equality, and inclusion, as well as support the development of territorial community capacities. Particular attention will be paid by the parties to joint work with territorial communities, dissemination of modern sustainable development practices, information campaigns on approaches to behavior, as well as building new partnerships for the recovery and development of the Chernihiv region.

Signing the Memorandum is not only a formalization of cooperation, but also an opportunity to combine the university’s scientific expertise with the practical experience of the public sector and transform joint ideas into concrete projects and solutions for communities.
