Recently, the second stage of the project on professional development for specialists in energy efficiency and alternative energy, implemented in cooperation between the Chernihiv City Council, the Rotary Club of Babcock Ranch, and Rotary Club “Kyiv–Capital”, was completed.

Chernihiv Polytechnic National University provided the educational program and methodological framework for the project. Specialists from the city’s enterprises, institutions, and facilities gained practical knowledge in the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of autonomous solar power plants. Based on the training results, the participants successfully passed the assessment and received professional development certificates.

For Chernihiv Polytechnic, this project became an example of an effective combination of education, practice, and international partnership. It provided the opportunity to train specialists whose knowledge will contribute to the energy independence of the city’s infrastructure, as well as to strengthen the practical component of training in the field of renewable energy.
