On December 1, 2022, the regular meeting of the Mastering your PhD scientific group was held with the support of the Department of Foreign Philology of Chernihiv Polytechnic University. Doctor of philosophy degree holders of the university of all fields of training took part in the meeting.

The chosen topic of the meeting was “Setting Goals in Scientific Research and Achieving Them”. Within the stated topic, the participants of the circle were introduced to the concept of the purpose of scientific research and its key features. The acquirers solved problematic tasks and discussed the urgent needs of society under current conditions.

The participants of the meeting were also introduced to the concept and features of time management as one of the main factors of personal discipline of a scientist. As part of the general discussion, the advantages and disadvantages of time management were discussed. Winners shared tips, features of planning and organizing their own working day.

Problems that will be considered at future meetings of the scientific group were highlighted.
