Annual meeting within the framework of the SUSTED project “Education for Sustainable Development: Synergy of Competences for Ukraine’s Recovery”
On 12 December 2025, representatives of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University took part in the annual meeting within the framework of the SUSTED project “Education for Sustainable Development: Synergy of Competences for Ukraine’s Recovery.” The event was held in a hybrid format at the Polissia National University (Zhytomyr).
As part of the section “Presentation of research on the potential of universities for the development of competencies in the field of sustainable development management,” Associate Professor Kateryna Kudriashova presented the results of research on the potential of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University for the development of competencies in the field of sustainable development management. The presented findings reflected the institutional capabilities of the university, scientific and educational resources, and prospects for integrating sustainable development principles into educational programmes and management practices.
Professor Viktoriia Marhasova took part in the thematic block “EU experience in teaching sustainable development: study visits and key conclusions,” dedicated to discussing European experience in teaching sustainable development, the results of study visits, and key conclusions for partner universities. Participation in this session facilitated the exchange of best practices, understanding of the approaches of European institutions, and identification of opportunities for their adaptation to the Ukrainian educational context.
During the meeting, the results of the first year of the SUSTED project “Education for Sustainable Development: Synergy of Competences for Ukraine’s Recovery” were summarised, and steps and activities for the near future were outlined.
