Working Meeting of the TURBO Project Team with Representatives of the Partner NGO “Chernihiv European”

On September 2, the TURBO project team held a working meeting with representatives of the partner non-governmental organization “Chernihiv European.” The event marked another step in coordinating efforts between the university and the civil society sector within the framework of the project.

The main topic of discussion was monitoring the career paths of TURBO program graduates. The parties reviewed approaches to tracking how the knowledge and skills gained during training shape participants’ subsequent professional trajectories, including employment, business development, and involvement in new initiatives.

A separate part of the meeting focused on discussing directions for further cooperation in supporting internally displaced persons at the community level. Meeting participants discussed opportunities to pool the resources of the university and the NGO to work directly within communities where IDPs live, drawing on the experience of “Chernihiv European” in this field.

The meeting took place at a new space established by the “Ostriv” Platform team in partnership with the NGO “Eco Misto” and Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, with support from GIZ Ukraine.

The main aim of TURBO project “The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises” is to increase the resilience, preparedness and responsiveness of Ukrainian higher education institutions (HEIs) by building their capacities, improving competencies and sharing experiences.
