The Digital Era of Employment: Workshop on Job Search and Career Planning for TURBO Program Participants

Participants of the micro-credit educational program for retraining and social adaptation of internally displaced persons within the TURBO project took part in practical workshops on “The Digital Era of Job Search: Rules for Online Interviews” and “Career Planning.”

During the sessions, participants became familiar with current labor market trends and employer expectations, and learned effective strategies for preparing for online interviews. Special attention was given to developing a professional image and digital resume, enhancing communication skills during video interviews, and presenting individual competencies.

Within the workshops, participants also worked on creating a career plan, which helps define professional goals, plan skill development, and select pathways for implementing their own business and career ideas. Practical exercises and discussions provided not only theoretical knowledge but also tools for real-world application.

The module instructor was Olena Petryk, PhD in Public Administration, Associate Professor, Head of the Career Development Center.

Through such workshops and other activities, the TURBO program supports the development of professional independence, enhances digital and social competencies, and fosters confidence in participants as they enter the labor market.

The TURBO project “The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises” aims to increase the resilience, preparedness and responsiveness of Ukrainian higher education institutions (HEIs) by building their capacities, improving competencies and sharing experiences.
