STUDYING UNDER THE EDUCATIONAL AND MENTORING LEADERSHIP PROGRAMME “PROHRESIIA”

Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Economics, Accounting and Taxation of the Educational-Scientific Institute of Business, Economics and Administration Akymenko Olena became a participant in the “Prohresiia” project, which is being implemented by Biasless (NGO “Pisliazavtra”) with the technical support of UN Women in Ukraine and with funding from the UN Women’s Peace & Humanitarian Fund (WPHF). The project brought together representatives of academia, culture and sports, the public sector, public administration, art, and business, who were strengthened by Ukrainian and foreign mentors, consultants, and teachers.

The educational sessions (workshops, masterclasses, “fireside chats”) with Ukrainian and international speakers were aimed at deepening the competencies necessary for more active participation in decision-making and change-making. The clear and logical structure of the project methodology ensured that the participants effectively achieved the planned results.

Each change-maker was provided with individual support as a participant of the transformation package: 10 hours of one-on-one mentoring, psychological and coaching to focus on herself, self-realisation, ambitions and overcoming obstacles, as well as a personal audit through the TriMetrix EQ behaviour, motives and emotional intelligence test with detailed personal recommendations.

In summary, the participants of the “Prohresiia” programme invested 50 group study hours and 20 individual study hours in 30 modules in their growth, and implemented their ideas in their graduation projects. The intensive six-month “Prohresiia” programme culminated in a diploma, which confirmed the knowledge and skills they had acquired.

Akymenko Olena recommends the “Prohresiia” programme to all women leaders who seek continuous self-development, as it provides not only theoretical knowledge but also focuses on developing practical skills necessary for success in teaching, such as communication, leadership, time management, etc.
