Startup School ‘Startup-Way to Success-2025’ at Chernihiv Polytechnic National University within the Win2EDIH project: results of an intensive training course for future innovators and entrepreneurs

The ‘Startup-Way to Success-2025’ programme, which was implemented as part of the Win2EDIH project and became a comprehensive training course for innovators, bringing together more than 30 participants, has come to an end. The 10-week school consisted of two key stages, each of which provided participants with new knowledge and practical skills for creating a successful start-up

The start-up school became a space where the synergy of creativity, determination and professional support paved the way for innovative solutions. Over the course of two weeks, participants attended interactive classes and learned how to identify relevant problems, test ideas, create value propositions, define customer segments, build business models, improve teamwork efficiency, and develop skills for creating compelling and vivid presentations using digital tools.

The final stage of the first phase was a pitching session, where participants presented their ideas in microgroups. In May and June, participants worked with mentors who helped them gain a deeper understanding of topics such as: starting a startup from scratch; effective project presentation strategies; using digital tools for teamwork; the startup life cycle; and others.

The circle of trainers and mentors of the startup school was joined by scientific and pedagogical workers of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, as well as founders of startups, representatives of the business sector and public organizations, representatives of the IT cluster. The startup school programme was implemented under the coordination of Kateryna Hnedina, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Accounting, Taxation and Audit, Coordinator of Startup Development, Innovation and Project Learning at Chernihiv Polytechnic National University.

We sincerely thank the trainers and mentors of the start-up school for their professionalism and support, and the participants for their active participation, creativity and involvement in the start-up movement at Chernihiv Polytechnic National University!
