On October 31, a French delegation led by Sébastien Suren, Counselor-Minister and Deputy Head of Mission at the French Embassy in Ukraine, visited the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University.

During the visit, members of the French delegation had the opportunity to observe the ongoing restoration work at the university, following severe damage caused by Russian aggression. The guests were shown the recently renovated building, where windows had been replaced, and several repairs completed, gradually bringing the learning spaces back to proper condition. The significant attention from international partners, particularly from France, demonstrates true support for Ukraine’s educational and scientific community during challenging times.

Rector Oleh Novomlynets expressed deep gratitude to Sébastien Suren and the French side for their assistance and ongoing cooperation, which not only aids the university in its recovery but also in its modernization efforts.
