A mentoring session entitled “The Digital Future: Professional Development Without Barriers” was held
In cooperation with the Chernihiv IT Cluster, as part of the “Support Circle” mentoring programme for students with disabilities, an online session was held on 26 November dedicated to inclusive opportunities in IT and career paths for young people with special educational needs. The event, open to a wider student audience, attracted the attention of those seeking to build a career in an accessible and supportive environment.
Mentor Olha Klimanska, HR Director at SendPulse, shared her systematic vision for the development of an inclusive culture in IT companies, practical advice on getting started in the industry, and key features of employment for people with disabilities. Participants discussed the most accessible IT specialities, opportunities for specialised educational programmes, internship formats, as well as flexible and remote work models that open the way to professional fulfilment.
The event demonstrated the importance of cooperation between the university community and business through mentoring programmes to create an inclusive labour market where everyone can find their place.
