The main tasks of the Student Language Ombudsman are:
– protection of the rights of students of higher education to receive educational services in the state language at the University and elimination of obstacles and restrictions in the use of the state language;
– advising students on the functioning of the state language;
– providing the heads of the student councils of the faculties and educational and scientific institutes of the University with proposals for measures aimed at protecting the right of citizens of Ukraine to receive information and services in the University’s spheres of activity in the state language;
– providing the heads of the student councils of the faculties and educational and scientific institutes of the University with proposals to eliminate obstacles and restrictions in the use of the state language;
-popularization of the Ukrainian language through cultural and educational events, etc.
