XX International Conference MODS 2025 ‘Mathematical and Simulation Modelling of Systems’
On 10-12 November 2025, the 20th International Conference “Mathematical Modelling and Simulation of Systems” (MODS 2025) was held at Chernihiv Polytechnic National University
During the sessions, cutting-edge research was presented, aimed at developing new tools, modelling complex systems in various fields, modelling complex systems in ecology, geology, manufacturing, information technology and cybersecurity, project management, cyber-physical systems, etc. The three-day event brought together scientists, researchers and practitioners from European and Ukrainian universities, scientific institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, companies and research centres.
The conference audience consisted of representatives from the Technical University of Berlin (Germany), Slovak Technological University in Bratislava (Slovakia), Lund University (Sweden), Gdynia Maritime University (Poland), Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia), University of Extremadura (Spain), Harbour.Space Institute of Technology (Spain), eCampus University (Italy), University of Macerata (Italy), Tohoku University (Japan), Vision, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Lab (Italy), the Institute of Mathematical Machines and Systems Problems of the Ukraine National Academy of Science, the V.M. Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Institute of Electrophysics and Radiation Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, State Institution “Scietific Centre for Aerospace Research of the Eath of the Institute of Geological Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine”, Institute of marine biology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Institute of telecommunications and global information space of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Institute of Software Systems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Hydrometeorological Centre of the Black and Azov Seas, Mine Action Centre, SnT Ukraine LLC.

The online format did not prevent lively communication and exchange of ideas, and the results presented will be published in the form of articles in the series “Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems” by Springer. The materials in this series are indexed by SCOPUS, EI Compendex, INSPEC, WTI Frankfurt eG, zbMATH, SCImago, and are also submitted for indexing in Web of Science.
