On October 27-29, 2023, the 11th International Scientific and Practical Conference “New Technologies in Geodesy, Land Management and Nature Management” GeoTech Zakarpattya 2023 was held on the basis of the Uzhgorod National University. Traditionally, the participants of the conference included scientists, teachers, graduate students, students and industrial workers. Representatives of well-known universities and institutes from abroad were also present: Warsaw Polytechnic, Research Geodetic, Topographic and Cartographic Institute (Prague, Czech Republic) and others.

The participant of the conference was Oleksiy Tereshchuk – Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Architecture, Design and Geodesy, Professor of the Department of Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University. Before the start of the conference, a collection of conference materials was released.

The following production structures and public organizations were widely represented: Transcarpathian regional branch of the state enterprise “Ukrainian Aerogeodetic Enterprise”, company “Navigation and Geodetic Center”, PE “Zahid – Zem”, Public Union “Ukrainian Society of Geodesy and Cartography”, etc. More than 38 reports were delivered at plenary and sectional meetings. There was an exhibition of geodetic equipment, and educational tours to the village of Lumshory and the Uzhgorod castle were also organized.

The high level of the conference shows the professionalism of the organizers, for which we are very grateful
