World Quality Day in the 2023 UN calendar is celebrated on November 9. The quality of our life is determined by many factors. Among the long list of important positions, the quality of education is of significant importance.

The quality of education is a concept that is evaluated according to various parameters and criteria and includes many aspects. The concept of the quality of education began to be actively discussed and implemented in educational systems more actively in the second half of the 20th century and at the beginning of the 21st century. The evaluation of the quality of education is usually based on the following key elements: academic achievements, teaching staff, educational programs, material and technical base, teaching methods, degree of satisfaction of education seekers, results of graduates.

Chernihiv Polytechnic National University has an internal quality assurance system that includes five levels. Continuous quality monitoring is carried out with corresponding publication of the results on the university’s website. High quality education contributes to the development of civic consciousness and activity, which is important for the functioning of a democratic society. Quality education is a key factor for the country’s economic development, as it contributes to the creation of a skilled workforce and increases labor productivity.
