On May 20, 2024, a working meeting of the Erasmus+ KA2 project team “Distance Education for the Future: EU best practices in response to the needs of higher education students and the labour market” (№ 101083143 – DEFEP – ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE) was held in a mixed format.

Institutional coordinator of the project, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Trade of the National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic” Nataliia Ivanova presented the DEFEP project to its new implementers and described in detail the interim results of its implementation. During the meeting, special attention was paid to the distribution of responsibilities within the WP 7 “Monitoring and Quality Assurance of the Distance Education System” work package, in particular, for the following planned tasks:

• · Т7.1. Development of a strategy for managing distance education as a separate and independent form of education in higher education institutions;
• · Т7.2. Develop a roadmap for quality assurance and academic integrity in distance education;
• · Т7.3. Development of a quality management control plan for distance education;
• · Т7.4. Determination of evaluation criteria, diagnostic tools and results of measuring the acquired competencies of distance education students;
• · Т7.5. Conducting regular stakeholder surveys, preparing periodic monitoring reports and analytical reviews of the quality of distance education for its further improvement.
