Win-Win EDIH information session in Chernihiv

On 16 April 2025, a regular meeting of the employers’ Council was held at the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University. The main focus was on discussing the capabilities of the colleges of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University in meeting the current needs of the labour market. The participants of the meeting considered the prospects for the development of vocational education, training of specialists in working and applied specialities, and also identified ways to strengthen the practical component in the educational process.

The Erasmus+ KA2 PROMENT project was also presented at the meeting, in particular its component related to the activities of PAEW, the Professional Association of Environmental Professionals. The President of the Association, Liudmyla Tsyhanok, made a professional presentation, focusing on the importance of integrating environmental expertise into the processes of sustainable development of businesses and communities.

The meeting included an information session on the launch of the European Digital Innovation Hub WIN2EDIH. Anatolii Prystupa, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, made a presentation of the WIN2EDIH hub and its catalogue of services.

The info session highlighted the key objectives and components of the project, including

  • – pre-investment testing, i.e. providing access to modern technologies and solutions that allow businesses to test their ideas before implementing them;
  • – digital skills development, which includes trainings, workshops and short-term educational programmes for entrepreneurs, civil servants and educators;
  • – consultations and assistance in finding grant programmes, as well as preparing to attract investments;
  • – networking and creating opportunities for interaction with Ukrainian and European partners in the innovation ecosystem.

The participants of the meeting actively participated in the discussion, expressing their readiness to support the Hub’s initiatives and offering specific ideas for further expanding cooperation. The information session was an important step towards achieving the ambitious goal of transforming the university into an active participant in the Ukrainian innovation ecosystem.
