Webinar on the topic: “Developmental Neuro-Motor Stimulation (DENEMS)

On April 23, 2023, within the framework of cooperation with the Academy of Physical Education in Katowice (Poland), associate professor of the department Ponomarenko N.P. organized and held a webinar on the topic: “Developmental Neuro-Motor Stimulation (DENEMS) – a meta-method in modern children’s physical therapy”, to which students of higher education of the department and specialists in physical therapy in pediatrics from all over Ukraine were invited.

The speakers of this event were guests from friendly Poland: Anna Gogola, a doctor with 25 years of clinical work experience with neurological patients and 17 years of teaching experience, specialist in various neurophysiological methods, author of the DENEMS method, head of the exoskeleton project for children and Rafal Hnat, professor, author of scientific works in the field of physical therapy of biomechanics, clinical biomechanics, neuromuscular control, neurophysiology, evaluation of diagnostic methods in physical therapy, academic teacher of biomechanics, clinical biomechanics, manual therapy, head. Movement analysis laboratory at the University of Physical Education in Katowice.

During the webinar, the speakers introduced the main characteristics of the author’s neurophysiological and neurodevelopmental DEMENS method. At the end, each of those present was able to ask a question and receive a balanced, complete answer.
