Visit to the Science Park ‘Sustainable Nature Management and Quality of Life’

On 19 May 2025, representatives of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University (N.V. Ivanova, V.H. Marhasova, S.A. Stepenko, K.V. Hnedina, O.V. Popelo, N.I. Kholiavko) made a working trip to the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine to get acquainted with the activities of the Science Park ‘Sustainable Environmental Management and Quality of Life’.

The participants of the work visit learnt about the experience of the Science Park, its strategic directions and examples of successful integration of environmental innovations into the business environment. Particular attention was paid to the model of interaction between science and business, which is implemented by the Science Park, creating conditions for the introduction of innovations, technology transfer and development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem with the participation of scientists, students and business representatives.

The experience gained will be a valuable basis for improving the research and innovation ecosystem as a basis for the sustainable transformation of Chernihiv Polytechnic and will contribute to the development of new formats of cooperation within the national research space.

The visit was organised within the framework of the project ‘Development of the research and innovation ecosystem as a basis for sustainable university transformation’, funded by the European Union’s external assistance instrument to fulfil Ukraine’s commitments under the European Union’s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020. The event was dedicated to the celebration of the Science Week at the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University. The event was an important step towards deepening partnerships between universities in the field of sustainable development, environmental innovations and commercialisation of scientific research.
