The main purpose of the meeting was to learn about the experience of this institution, which is one of the flagships of technology transfer in the Ukrainian educational and scientific space. The participants had the opportunity to study the organizational and legal basis of the science park’s activities, mechanisms for attracting investment, establishing partnerships with industrial enterprises, and implementing projects aimed at commercializing research results. Particular attention was paid to successful cases of cooperation with the real sector of the economy. During the visit, the team also familiarized themselves with the activities of specialized laboratories and centers for innovative development operating at Lviv Polytechnic.

On July 2, 2025, a team from Chernihiv Polytechnic visited the Innovation and Investment Cluster of Ternopil Science Park at Ternopil Ivan Puluj National Technical University. During the meeting, they talked about a model for regional innovation development, as well as ways to bring together the scientific, business, and government sectors to build a sustainable innovation ecosystem. The focus was on the implementation of effective tools to stimulate applied research, the functioning of startups based on higher education institutions, and support for small and medium-sized businesses through scientific developments.
