On May 10, a delegation from the federal state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern visited the Chernihiv Polytechnic University to meet with representatives of higher education in the Chernihiv region.

The composition of the delegation:

• Bettina Martin – Minister of Science, Culture, Federal and European Affairs of the Federal Land of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
• · Suzanne Roka-Heilborn – Head of the Science and Research Strategy Department of the Ministry of Science, Culture, Federal and European Affairs of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
• · Rita Gerlach Marsh – head of the public relations department of the Ministry of Science, Culture, Federal and European Affairs of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

The purpose of the delegation’s visit is to promote the development of scientific and educational ties and the exchange of experience between higher education institutions of the Chernihiv region and scientific and educational institutions of the federal state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

The meeting was attended by:

• Chaus V.A. – head of Chernihiv OVA;
•  Sheremet O.S. – rector of the Chernihiv Collegium National University named after T.G. Shevchenko;
•  Samoilenko O.H. – Rector of Mykola Gogol Nizhyn State University;
•  V.S. Lukach – director of the Nizhyn Agrotechnical Institute of the National University of Bioresources and Nature Management of Ukraine.

During the meeting, the heads of higher education institutions of the region discussed possible areas of cooperation with the universities of the federal state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: academic mobility programs for students and teachers, implementation of educational and scientific projects, as well as holding joint cultural and sports events!
