During his visit to the National University ‘Chernihiv Polytechnic’, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to Ukraine, Ilgvārs Kļava, showed a deep interest in the peculiarities of the educational process at the university in the conditions of war. He got acquainted with the innovative equipment and modern technologies that help students to acquire knowledge and practical skills in their chosen field in a blended learning environment.

The Ambassador visited the new laboratories, which are currently being equipped with telecommunication equipment donated by the Latvian company Tet.

He also got acquainted with the virtual learning technology that is being actively implemented in the educational process.

This helps to improve the quality of higher education at the National University ‘Chernihiv Polytechnic’ and creates a comfortable atmosphere for students.

Ilgvārs Kļava expressed hope for further development of cooperation between the Republic of Latvia and Ukraine in the field of education and science.
