Congratulations to Tunik Heorhiy, a master’s student in Marketing, MMR-211 group, who won the first place in the All-Ukrainian competition “The country will not make itself”. The task of the competition was an attempt to review the context and social background of the new decade of the young Ukrainian democracy.

The jury of the competition included famous Ukrainian women and men:

• – Irma Vitovska, theater and film actress, producer, public figure;
• – Yaroslava Gres, public figure, co-founder of Gres Todorchuk agency;
• – Oleksandr Grekhov, artist, illustrator;
• – Nadia Kelm, graphic and information designer, art director of texty.org.ua;
• – Yevhen Klopotenko, chef, researcher of Ukrainian cuisine, ideologue of the Cult Food food culture change project;
• – Ivan Marunych, musician, frontman of the band Karta Svitu, co-founder of the Center for Joint Actions;
• – Serhii Prytula, public and political figure, volunteer, TV presenter, actor;
• – Oksana Syroid, political activist, vice-president for public policy and governance of the Kyiv School of Economics.

“How many families witnessed a war that changed the outlook of their children and forced them to migrate abroad? Thousands, maybe tens of thousands of families, including my family. I wanted to make a short video that would cause a parent’s tears in an immigrant, and a catharsis in a foreigner who has not seen the war… Thanks to the teachers of the department of marketing, PR technologies and logistics for the motivation to participate!” – shared George
