On November 6, 2023, the Ukrainian Quality Assurance Forum (UQAF – 2023, Ukrainian Quality Assurance Forum) started, in which the vice-rector for scientific work Viktoriya Margasova and the head of the department of management and administration Olha Rudenko from Chernihiv Polytechnic National University took part.

The event was organized by the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education in partnership with the Western Ukrainian National University (Ternopil). More than 160 participants offline and more than 1,000 online participated in the Forum: educators and scientists, representatives of authorities, heads of universities, guarantors of educational programs, representatives of units responsible for internal systems of ensuring the quality of higher education, members and the secretariat of the National Agency, experts and members industry expert councils, students, employers.

During the Forum, panel discussions were held on the problems of the internal and external system of quality assurance of higher education in Ukraine, the introduction of post-accreditation monitoring, topical issues of ensuring academic integrity, as well as the presentation of best practices in the functioning of the internal system of quality assurance of higher education in Ukrainian institutions of higher education.

Interesting speeches and panel discussions confirmed the slogan of the forum: “Education is a weapon, knowledge is power, the task of all stakeholders of the education system is to make education better and more competitive for obtaining solid knowledge.”
