“TURBO: Educational Program for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses.” Business Career Development: Opportunities, Challenges, and Personal Strategy

We share news from the implementation of the microcredit educational program for retraining and social adaptation of internally displaced persons (IDPs) within the project “The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises (TURBO).”

On March 27, within the course “Psychology of Business” (delivered as part of the microcredit educational program), a training session on “Business Career Development” was conducted by Kateryna Maksom, PhD in Psychology, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Social Work, Project Coordinator from CPNU.

The session focused on uncovering the key aspects of building a successful business career in today’s world. Participants explored different approaches to career planning, learned about the factors behind entrepreneurial success, and discussed common challenges faced on the path to professional growth. Special attention was given to practical tools such as personal branding, market positioning, and networking as essential components of sustainable career development.

The training combined a theoretical framework with the analysis of real cases and encouraged participants to reflect more deeply on their own career trajectories.
