‘TURBO: an educational programme for the development of small and medium-sized businesses’. Building career skills: from job search to effective CV
As part of the microcredential educational programme for retraining and social adaptation of internally displaced persons, classes aimed at developing practical competencies for employment are ongoing.
On 9 May 2025, Olena Petryk, Head of the Career Development Centre, conducted practice-oriented workshops on modern job search strategies. The participants worked through the key stages of employment: from analysing vacancies to preparing a personal brand.
Particular attention was paid to:
- – writing a resume that attracts the attention of an employer;
- – creating a cover letter as a self-presentation tool;
- – using online resources for job search;
- – common mistakes and ways to avoid them.
Participants received practical advice on how to adapt their documents to different types of employers and vacancies.
