TURBO: an educational programme for the development of small and medium-sized businesses
On March 3, the grand opening of the spring semester of the certificate (microcredit) programme “TURBO: Educational Programme for Small and Medium Business Development”, implemented by the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University in cooperation with the NGO “Chernihiv European” within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA2 TURBO project “The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises”, took place.
The main goal of the project is to increase the resilience, preparedness and response of Ukrainian higher education institutions by building their capacity, improving their competencies and sharing experiences. The programme is targeted at internally displaced persons (IDPs) with higher education and aims to develop skills for starting and developing small and medium-sized businesses. Through academic retraining in leading Ukrainian universities, they will be able to acquire new competencies that will facilitate their employment and integration into local communities where they were forced to move due to the war.
