Training programme for academic staff at the Moldova State University

On 1-21 August 2024, the academic staff of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University acquired new knowledge and skills within the framework of the ERASMUS+ KA2 DEFEP project “Distance Education for Future: best EU practices in response to the requests of modern higher education seekers and labor market”. The comprehensive curriculum was implemented in English and covered the following key areas:

  • – University management: improving the skills of effective management of educational institutions.
  • – Teachers of online courses: in-depth training in teaching methodology for distance education.
  • – Mentors/tutors: learning strategies for effective student support in online programmes.

The training took place in synchronous and asynchronous formats. The asynchronous component, hosted on the Moodle platform at the Moldova State University, included presentations, learning materials and assessments. Participants also actively participated in forum discussions and attended weekly Zoom meetings for live communication.

We are sincerely grateful to the organisers of the training programme and DEFEP project partners for their high professionalism!
