On 14 April 2025, the spring semester of the academic mobility programme ‘Social Entrepreneur School IBS’ started for students of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University. The programme is implemented under the cooperation agreement with Fil. Dr. Jan-U. Sandal Institute (Norway) and is conducted in an online learning format.

The course is taught by Professor Jan-Urban Sandal, founder and rector of Fil. Dr. Jan-U. Sandal Institute, an international expert in the field of social entrepreneurship.

Olha Melnyk welcomed the participants. She noted that the ‘Social Entrepreneurship’ course is a unique educational space where ideas make sense and dreams turn into effective projects. According to her, this course is not only about business, but also about responsibility, courage, and the desire to change the world for the better.

During their studies, students will learn how to turn social challenges into opportunities, create businesses that not only bring in profit but also have a positive social impact. Inspirational lectures, real-life case studies, and teamwork on their own initiatives await the participants.
