Chernihiv Polytechnic National University is a participant in the second cycle (2021-2022) of the Program for Improving Teaching in Higher Education in Ukraine, implemented by the British Council in Ukraine in partnership with the Institute of Higher Education of NAPS of Ukraine, Advance HE (UK) and supported by the Ministry Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education. The purpose of the Program is to improve the quality of higher education in Ukraine by developing the institutional capacity of Ukrainian universities to improve teaching and learning.

On January 25, 2022, the second stage of the “Program for Improving Teaching in Higher Education” started. In the framework of the first session “Teaching Excellence as a priority for the development of the EHEA” the training “Teaching Improvement: Model and Strategy” was held. The participants of the training joined the discussion of the main dimensions of the EHEA and European principles of improving teaching in higher education. An active discussion revolved around the models of development of higher education institutions, public mission and the current profile of universities.
