The I-Media project is gaining momentum: the results of October

In the Chernihiv region, the implementation of the human rights program “I – Media” continues, the main purpose of which is to activate young community leaders and increase their influence on social processes through the use of modern media. October left unforgettable memories for the participants of the “I – Media” project. The active phase of the blog cafe has begun – a modern communication format that helps to gain new knowledge in an interesting interactive form, development and critical thinking, the ability to work in a team, and allows you to exchange ideas, make new acquaintances and get creative inspiration to write new blogs. Two blog cafes took place in October.

On October 12, Blog Cafe №1 “Formation of youth human rights content in social networks and the blogosphere” was held (moderator – Alla Kholodnytska, Candidate of Economic Sciences). During the event, participants were able to learn more about how to make their blog interesting, unique and influential, as well as practice writing their own blog posts.

On October 20, the second blog-cafe “Prevention of emotional burnout of public activists” within the project “I-Media” took place in Chernihiv (moderator – candidate of pedagogical sciences, facilitator, member of the NGO “Chernihiv European” Tetyana Detsyuk). During the meeting, young leaders of Chernihiv communities were able to learn more about the main causes of emotional burnout in the era of digital transformation and under the influence of the global pandemic, and most importantly – to master effective techniques to diagnose symptoms of fatigue and relieve stress. Feedback from blog cafe participants testifies to the usefulness of tried and tested methods of recovery and relaxation on the physical and emotional levels. It is this preventive approach that allows community leaders to reboot in a timely manner and have a greater resource for active and effective action in an era of rapid change. In addition, the participants of the blog cafe discussed the possible topics of posts on the prevention of procrastination, social apathy and burnout in today’s digital world.

The October events were interesting, relevant and useful for future young bloggers, and experienced trainers Alla Kholodnytska and Tetyana Detsyuk managed to create a powerful networking, casual and unique atmosphere of live communication.

The next three blog cafes are scheduled for the end of 2021 and will be no less interesting. Follow the announcements, join the project and develop with us useful modern media skills and leadership skills.
